I open today’s show with a bit of a reminder of season one of the J6 Committee. There is a reason for it and that’s the polling which followed the season finale. Americans were not moved at all by anything the J6 Committee said, showed, played or promised. As Constitutional scholar and law professor Jonathon Turley said, “The lack of impact of the hearings is, in my opinion, due to two threshold decisions of the Democrats. First, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others decided that the Committee would focus on reinforcing “a narrative” rather than follow prior investigatory commissions with and open and balanced inquiry. Second, the Committee over promised the public. At the start of the hearings, committee members promised they had the long-sought smoking-gun evidence – new material that would close the circle on Trump.” Needless to say, they did not.
Democrats are desperate to both stem their losses in the November midterms and to find a way to disqualify Donald Trump from running for office in 2024. Ideally, they would like to nuke Trump so thoroughly, the fallout will take out all other candidates he is supporting and endorsing. So far, they haven’t been able to manage it, even with the help of the FBI, CIA, DOJ, NIA, the legacy/mainstream media and Big Tech.
This is likely why the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago was launched. They are trying to find that nuclear weapon they can launch at the former president. Unfortunately, according to a piece by Stacey Lennox of PJ Media, polling shows that desperate maneuver is backfiring on them in spectacular fashion. Independents and Republicans alike both believe the FBI raid was politically motivated. What’s more, those some two voter groups state they are even more enthused about getting to the polls in November. Conversely, Democrat voter enthusiasm continues to slump.
Speaking of polls, let’s take a brief side-step to a recent YouGov poll about the Inflation Reduction Act. According to the overall numbers 42% believe it will cause inflation to increase while only 13% think it will make inflation go down. By party affiliation. It’s 72%/2% for Republicans and 41%/7% for Independents. The only party who believes the name of the bill is the Democrat party and it’s 14%/25%.
With such distrust in government and especially the agencies withing the Executive Branch, even Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) said it’s easy to believe the FBI was not above planting evidence. And, joining him in warning Americans that we are in Banana Republic territory, Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said, “Regardless of how you feel about Trump, this FBI raid throws fuel on that fire of distrust and sets a dangerous precedent that reduces our government to being no better than a banana republic, where dictators see federal law enforcement as their own personal goon squad.”
Finally, and we will see if it ends up being true, but Eric Trump told the Daily Mail that the security cameras at Mar-a-Lago were left on, even though the FBI ordered them turned off. So far, no footage or anything else to corroborate that has been revealed, but it will be interesting to see it play out. It could be a bluff to spook the FBI or it could be 100% true. We will have to wait and see.

Mr. Sanders – you hit the nail on the head – the left is trying every illegal way to remove President Trump from the ticket because they know their a$$eS are fried if he is elected.
This committee was a hoax from the start. Liz Cheney broke her promise to the people when she double-crossed the voters and became a Democrat. She just like a lot of others were never Republicans and came into office under false pretenses (she lied).
So did her dad and the Bushes. They snookered the people.
